So here is our "St.Rand @ Access Auto" Mascot She started her live as a Fiat 850 somewhere in the Karoo of South Africa, The 1 st owner was a Baker and used her daily to drive to the Bakery at 4 in the Morning and back home after 8 at night Her 2nd Owner bought her for the Daughters student car at the University of Stellenbosch.... Hense the "Stellies" Sticker back then ! The 3rd Owner used her as a Daily runner in Melkbos,,,, She drove to the Beach daily for a Morning swim. The 4th Owner restored the Baby and Kept her in the Garage and Only took her to Church on Sundays and to the Most Motor-Shows in and around Cape Town. The 5th Owner bought her from the 4th owners estate and just did Not Care at all,,,,,,, She was left Outside in all weather conditions and was just used as the General "Stuff-Around" car ( Shame ) Pity How SOME People Just Don't Care ????? Well, Then She became part of the Access Auto Family ( Originally for Spares for a 850 Sport ) Where her Engine and Gearbox landed...... Then Access Auto was asked to Sponsor a Flower Festival at a Local Church ! & the Fiat 850 Became a Fiat 85.... We made her to Fit in by a Normal Single door ( Only 660 mm wide ) to be part of the Festival After which she became the MASCOT of Access Auto..... She was Blue at first , Then we made her Pink and mounted her on a Running Mercedes Benz E Class, After which we made her White,,,,,, & Now after about 12 Years we made her Yellow as Part of the Change to "St.Rand oldies @ Access Auto" So, You are welcome to come and Look at her and have a Cup of Coffee with Us,, #OomSteve
